Digital & Social TV Marketing Manager - CLOSED

We are looking for a highly talented Marketing Manager, someone who will set the strategy and execute marketing and communications activity. The primary levers will include digital and social channels to augment a significant Broadcast TV Media plan. Trade and industry marketing will also form an important part of the role.
The position will suit candidates who seek a dynamic work environment in an exciting, new and emerging sector – Social TV. This is a great opportunity to join a well-funded start up that is backed by the UKs leading Social TV player and a well-known Australia media company.  

Responsibilities will include:
  • Applying innovative and effective marketing approaches and tactics to refine and drive messages by target stakeholder group to drive zeebox awareness and appetite by target consumer segment
  • Harnessing social networks to augment the core campaign and engage the most committed industry influencers and TV watchers through
    • -    Trade media 
    • -    Blogosphere
    • -    Digital media
    • -    Mass media
    • -    Influencers by group and vertical
  • Working with broadcasting and media partners to coordinate joint marketing plans around specific TV shows as well as zeebox as a social TV platform
  • Plugging in many differentiators across target publications, trade shows and conferences to sharpen our positioning in the marketplace
  • Acting as a key member of the  Australian management team in shaping and communicating the unique network, advertiser and consumer benefits.

We’re looking for the following:
  • Track record of success in asymmetric marketing, doing more with less through a deep understanding of how different levers (digital and social) can be effectively applied to optimize the marketing mix
  • Rich and varied spheres of influence across target stakeholder groups and consumer demographics
  • Awareness of different Australian consumer needs and wants and what this means for Marketing in terms of communication, launch and marketing mix execution
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across our partner ecosystem
  • Ability to leverage European partnerships to accelerate progress in Australia
