Digital TV Production Lead - CLOSED

- Enhancing primetime TV (Drama, Reality, Sport, Comedy etc.) across major genres with enhanced content (developing and sourcing compelling and relevant show content online, developing interactive content features, overseeing the look and feel of show pages)
- Managing content relationships and partnering with major Broadcast & STV partners as well as associated TV talent agencies and program makers in augmenting their shows
- Ensure they understand the power and application of the platform in enabling consumers to be informed, interact, engage socially and transact across their favorite shows and brands
- Support their use of the ‘OpenBox’ API platform to distribute digital content related to their shows to fans
- Share with them rich analysis on consumer engagement with their content on the second screen
- Live management of show page content – Twitter hashtags, celebrity lists, facts & trivia, apps and downloads, and related links
- Managing the recruitment, development and performance of a 2-3 person editorial team
- Acting as a key member of the Australian management team in shaping and communicating the unique network, advertiser and consumer benefits
- Identifying and collaborating with key partners in content enhancement
- Widget, app and functionality providers to deepen the consumer 2nd screen experience
- Related 3rd party data feeds and content providers
- Shaping the roadmap of the OpenBox dashboard for broadcasters – prioritizing new feature requests, providing continuous feedback and escalating new issues and feature requirements
- Providing continuous testing and quality control of editorial content across devices
We’re looking for:
- Remarkable depth and breadth of show, network and brand knowledge; needs to live for TV
- Track record of top-tier editorial development in prioritizing, editing and enhancing digital content
- Expansive knowledge of how TV heroes and shows thrive and die across the social ecosystem (FB, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
- Awareness of different Australian consumer needs and wants and what this means for editorial in terms of content and functionality enhancement
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective partnering across mainstream and niche networks and content providers
- Adobe and web UI proficiency preferred
