Business Development Manager eCommerce
We’ve recently placed the eCommerce Director and Head of Operations with these guys and we’re now on the search for three more people as they further build the business.
Their business is to advise clients on eCommerce strategies across online and mobile and they’re exceptionally knowledgeable about content strategy, search and social media with their focus on business outcomes and return on investment for their clients. It’s worth noting that they’re happy to sponsor so you may be anywhere in Australia and fancy a career and lifestyle change or from overseas just entering Oz.
The Agency is 4 years old and the MD has been in eCommerce & online marketing for many years. He set the business up as he’s passionate about online and believes he and the team can offer an excellent marketing solution helping their clients do better business with better outcomes. In fact they are considered as subject experts in their field and that’s really their point of difference; they don’t sell ideas to clients, they consult. Their culture is one of team and collaboration, they like to do great work and have fun whilst doing it!

- New Business Development to achieve sales targets including prospecting and referral based lead generation.
- Strategic partnership development.
- Management of the sales process and pipeline.
- Sales reporting and performance analysis.
- Proactive input and market feedback into new product development.
Experience we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years successful sales experience in a new business development role
- 1-2 years marketing experience, preferably with online channels
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience of self-sufficiently building markets and sales pipeline
- Outstanding presentation, written communication skills and phone manner
- Experience in sales reporting and analysis
- Vendor experience in the online marketing and media industry
- Client side online marketing experience – preferably in retail or franchising
